People are calling for Hall to have the strap in 12 months? Easssy fellas.... easy.

Hall looked GREAT on TUF... But damn

He beat Adam Cella, who had 4 fights and been fighting under 18 months

Bubba McDaniel who IMO did NOT want to be in there

and Dylan Andrews who even exhausted with a broken nose was able to take Hall down and hold him there for a decent amount of time.

 

A lot of problems for Hall in the UFC MW division IMO...

Edit = Still much respect to Hall, I just don't want to get too excited until I see him against some tougher competition.

I'm not sure how much of it was Dylan being able to hold him down and how much of it was Uriah searching for a sub that he really wasn't very likely to get...

But I agree. You know this always happens though... Fighters are always ridiculously hyped right after a strong performance. It'll die down after a few weeks Phone Post 3.0

Uriah might beat him now, but I think Kelvin has a brighter future. Kelvin is 7 years younger so he can stand to come up a little slower if he loses. Phone Post 3.0

Hall is a great talent, but he is years away from being a contender. He needs to prove he can beat legit wrestlers before he deserves the hype.

Kelvin will be a good first test. If he wins that, give him someone like Derek Brunson and see if he can remain upright.

I think it's just a lot of fun speculate on these prospects. Eventually, someones Hype train is going to be well deserved. How many people thought AS was going to be champ in 2004? How many poll had doubts about that. Eventually, you should get one right. Phone Post
