Hey guys (and gals),
Check out King College's wrestling website at www.kingcollegewrestling.com. They are in Bristol, TN and will be having a wrestling seminar on five consecutive Sunday nights beginning on October 2nd, led by Doug Reese, the new Tornado coach, who has many years of experience with USA Wrestling. Also, on Saturday October 22nd, Dennis Hall, world greco champ, will be doing an all day seminar. Each of these seminars is "straight wrestling," that is, no submission, MMA, etc. It is a good opportunity for both traditional wrestlers as well as submission, jiu jitsu, and MMA types to learn wrestling from an experienced coach who has gobs of international experience. For the gals out there, he has produced a number of national womens champions and, I think, even a world womans champ. In fact, their strength coach is a woman who is a former national champ.
King College is a small NAIA school, that for some reason unknown to me (but I am sure a good one!) decided to start a wrestling program. They have an excellent coach and check the new wrestling room out. It's huge and with a subfloor!
Check it out!
