With no jobs in Corvallis and minimal training due to the worm I decided to try and finish what I started in writing a book. Before you give me an "oh brother.." here are the cliff notes version.
Minor Frat Time
Title: Chronicles of death
Main Charecter: Son of Hattori and Fujiko Hanzo, servants of Matsudaira Takechiyo. Actually took it from History because what the heck always makes for a better story. The kid was thought to be possessed by demons but that's explained later
Premise: guy was happy, had a wife who was pregnant. Wife dies during child birth. Guy goes through life like zombie doing what he's supposed. Battle of Sekigahara happens, during the battle he sees a beautiful girl who is collecting souls of guys dropping left and right. Stops to think "wtf" and gets stabbed and dies.
He wasn't supposed to see the girl who was like death, and because it wasn't supposed to happen he doesn't die and become immortal (kind of a stretch) hence why people think he is possesed by demons.
So the guy goes through history chasing death (the Plague in Europe etc.) in hopes of finding the girl. Ends up seeing a lot of other jacked shit and makes him stop to think about life and relifion.
Topics:
1. In the beginning god created the earth (genesis story). Ok so god made Adam and Eve in his own image. Satan came and made them bad. But seriously, ever stop to wonder why there were "bad angels", what made them bad? Could it be that god made Adam and Eve in his own image but when they fucked up just like him he took away there immortality and made them mortal? Nothing is perfect..
2. We say that the heart is were love is and commonly refer to heart as something that means more then it is. Love, spirit all is said to come from the heart, yet a heart can be transplanted. People can have pig hearts etc. does that mean pigs have the same capacity for love and spirit as the rest of us. All that we associate with heart comes from the soul.
3. If we were going to die in a week we would sell everything we have and go out and live our life. Instead most people live like they are going to never die. They go to college or learn a trade, work hard in there 20's and 30's to live the dream. In their 40's they realize fuck there stuck but need to continue doing what there doing to make it. In their 50's they are almost done so they finish out there years so they can retire which they never really do. If all you knew was to work you usually continue along that path trying to accumulate as much wealth as you can. In there 60's they are still hustling. In their 70's if they live that long, they kind of have an oh shit moment and before they realize it there dead.
