Havent heard anything about NBC, its possible since the head of Showtime was talking about continuing with mma I think maybe they wait for SF to fold in Jan and they sign WSOF to a deal.
WSOF just seems like more of a showtime product than an NBC event. WSOF would be a better fit for Showtime imo.

Yeah I could see them as a lower level SF, they dont have near the stars SF had and I think that model failed miserably and SF had to sell. So I wouldnt expect a WSOF to sign huge guys like Fedor/Hendo etc, plus you have bellator as a serious player now.
So i think WSOF on Showtime could be like AAA kind of org that puts on fun fights and builds guys up and gives guys who get cut from teh UFC or Belltaor a place to fight.
Maybe not trying to be a big time org and compete with the UFC/Bellator but just an org that puts on some entertaining fights and fills 10 Sat nights a year. Plus it would be cheap programming for Showtime who has spent a while building an mma audience on the network. They can put on events and do 300-400k viewers.

Spong is fighting Remy Bonjasky in Glory in March so I doubt we see him on it.
