I was driving out of the parking structure of the local Mitsuwa supermarket when the parking attendant asked me if I had heard of "Southland to Japan".
I told him that I'd never heard of it.
He replied that it was really good, so I told him that I'd look it up when I got home.
When I followed through with that, I found this abomination:
yay, more disposable wiminz. GO TEAM!
They won't be into you unless you pretend to be Mexican.

i used to crack up when i saw japanese dudes with flannel shirts driving low riders with mexican flags either painted on the side or mini ones hanging in the windows and shit.

lol, yeah that's a pretty crazy thing here in Japan. I see a few of them around and they look pretty ridiculous. In fact, I was at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro last weekend and walked into an entire store dedicated to cholo wear. Stuff that even the ese's in LA don't wear unless they're 16 yrs old and just starting out.
about the women... I always tell my wife that anyone can find 'fans' here no matter what you choose to be or do.
bro, i love ikebukuro.
I didnt know mexicans could swim that far
everyone knows if they were real gangsters they couldnt get a passport
I love the jiggas even more. trying to be gangsters, paying like 500 bucks for their gear. LOL. Only true gangsters can afford that... in japan

It's also worth pointing out that there are more Hula halau in Japan than
in Hawaii and on the mainland US combined.
I might do some traveling there soon to perform with the Makaha Sons
since I just finished a 20 song CD and songbook for Japan
