WWE really doesn't care about good workers I guess

I mean Rey and Del Rio clearly made Punk look like a beginner in that 3 way last night. Yet they put Punk over.

Don't try to cater to the guy just because he is leaving. Rey and Del Rio are far better workers, you should reward them for that.

I'll give you del Rio, but rey? I haven't been impressed by a mysterio match since the ladder with Eddie.

I agree. I've said it before and I'll never get tired of saying it again: CM Punk is an overrated, half-assed, indie-level performer who only got a WWE contract because of his internet ROH-nuthugging fanbase. Dude is just brutal to watch. Phone Post

Bullshit. That dude is over and his matches are always good.

lol

You guys are crazy... Punk is damn good and his mic skills are awesome. Del Rio is also a good worker and Raw has dropped the ball with him. Rey is corny as hell, same way I feel about super cena...act is old and tired. Only reason they keep getting pushed is little kids buyin Rey masks and cena gear. Phone Post

Punk is damn good. Is he the best? No. But he is better than 90% of the workers currently on the roster.

LOL if you think the internet or ROH fanbase has ANYTHING to do with anybody's success in McMahon Land. It's a hinderance if anything. Punk is not the best performer in the world, but he is the best all-around guy in the WWE now when you take all facets of the game together... I don't really think it's close.

Exactly Vince is more likely to bury a guy coming over from the indies with a big internet following.

Rey out-performing Punk at this stage in his career is laughable... big fan of Rey, but he needs to take time off.

Punk is the best heel in the business today.. He's been legit attacked twice within the past year by fans. The guy simply has the ability to make you hate him, where as most of the other heels feel forced.

Also don't see your gripe with his in-ring work... my guess is you hate seeing guys from the Indies make it, or you simply aren't watching the same stuff.

Punk is the only reason I watch Raw, although I am enjoying Del Rio's work as well.

I thought this troll was particularly weak, but it worked.

Rey outworked Punk in that match no doubt about it.

Rey sells like no other. He sells better than anyone since maybe Morton, and IMO he is just as good as Morton was. His transitions are top notch as well. Rey's only in ring flaws are his need for spots and his occaisional botch. He didn't botch anything last night. He was in late 90's form.

Rey is one of the greatest workers of all time. Don't let the random botched move fool you. Guy got over as top face on ring work alone. Last guy to do that since Bret Hart.

Punk is not in Rey's league in the ring.

I think all three are good tbh, I enjoy Punk's matches. I'm not a huge ROH fan or anything like that, I just think he's great at the mind games and can read the crowd, theres more to a match than spots.

I agree Punk is a good worker, but Rey can do all of the things Punk can do, and then some.

You sound like one of those delusional ROH nuthuggers who gets butthurt everytime someone says anything bad about CM Punk. I honestly feel bad for you if you think the guy has great in-ring work ethic. You probably also think he could own anybody in the UFC with his "deadly" Muay Thai kicks huh? For the record, I'm not against indy guys who make it in the big leagues. In fact, I can think of a handful of better indy workers who deserved a WWE contract moreso than Punk. As I said before, its only because of internet nuthuggers like you and the hype that you created that hacks like Punk are employed by WWE.

Dude's got mic skills, I'll give him that, but in the 20 years that I've been watching wrestling I can honestly say that I've never seen such a boring, redundant, half-assed, routine, backyard-level "wrestler" like CM Punk get put over like that in the WWE or WCW. It's sad, really. What's interesting is that he's very similar to John Cena in that they both can't work FOR SHIT and need to be carried to a decent watchable match but yet are shoved down our throats on a weekly basis because they are over with fans. The marks love Cena and the smarks love Punk. At least Cena has the physique to back him up which makes it somewhat acceptable. Punk on the other hand, looks like some random schmuck on the street that WWE gave a contract to. What a joke Phone Post

You seem upset

Punk is one of the better workers on the roster. Having an internet fanbase doesn't really mean shit to Vince. Im pretty sure Bryan Danielson has a lot of fanboys on the internet(he's a really good worker) but he hasn't gotten a big push. Zack Ryder's videos on youtube get like 100,000 views and he is hardly ever on either of the big shows. So I'm not really sure where you got your idea that internet fanboy love = great success in the WWE
