Don't know if this was posted already but does anyone know why Albert Manners didn't show and why Ronald Jhun left after the second round?
I heard ron jhun had a family issue it is just what I heard

Manners was MIA at the weigh-ins. Not sure why. The promoters paid for his plane ticket and he was supposedly on island at the time. The DCCA rep at the weigh-ins was concerned about Manners not weighing in so X! had Mike Pedro weigh in as a replacement if Manners never showed.
Not sure what happened with Manners after that, I assumed he never showed up or showed up too late and the DCCA pulled him from the card.
As for Ronald, I obviously can't say for certain why he left, but I've heard from numerous people that a family member of his was hospitalized prior to the fight. I'd imagine that was weighing on his mind quite a bit during the fight. Also, he was cut above the eye and then later poked in it during the fight. His whole eye area looked really red and a bit swollen. I'm sure that didn't help either.
lol i gave braddah albert a high five right after the fights and he had the mischevious smirk of doom. something had to have happened during the fights w/ him there. had to.
Kai wrote on mmahawaii that Kim, Ron's wife, was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst that evening. Ron decided to fight regardless of the news. seems like everything just kinda got to him during the fight, so he took off to see his wife. i hope Kim will be okay...thats some scary stuff.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case.
When I brought it up at the weigh-ins, the X1 folks looked at me funny and said they fully expected him to be there and had no idea why he wasn't.
Maybe they were being coy with me. Or maybe Albert was being coy with them.
Either way, I look forward to seeing Albert fight again. Definitely an exciting dude.

Man, that's scary stuff for sure. My thoughts are with Ron and his family. Such a nice guy. Hope everyone gets healthy and Ron gets back in the ring soon.
I hope Kim gets better soon. They all are such a great family.
Talked to manners @ X1, asked why he wasn't fighting.
He basicly waved his hands/finger together symbolizing $$$$money & then slid his hand across his throat..........??? Then gave his trademark smile of bad intentions.
