Saturday the 14th of March shall see the return of Aussie Heavyweight MMA superstar Soa ‘The Hulk’ PALELEI & Western Australia debut of XFC.
The event has been a long time in the making & the result of extensive collaborative effort between XFC and the department of sport & recreation (DSR) in Western Australia.
Perth’s massive Challenge Stadium shall play host, offering full stadium seating for the event marking the biggest MMA event in Australian history with a 7000 capacity house. XFC president Justin LAWRENCE is elated to bring the XFC cage across the great Aussie Outback & looks forward to showcasing professional MMA in a huge stadium best known for international music acts, Perth Wildcats games & Danny GREEN boxing spectaculars.
The evening’s co-main events see’s UFC veteran Soa PALELEI of Perth take on fearsome New Zealand Heavyweight champion & former NRL/K1 star Leamy TATO. While American ex pat & Perth local ‘Beautiful’ Brian EBERSOLE makes debut as a Junior Welterweight (73kg/160lb) against the exceptionally credentialed Muay Thai champion Shannon ‘F16’ FORRESTER of QLD. With the pair of them boasting close to 200 bouts (collectively) this promises to be something spectacular!
An international 93kg super-fight featuring the super talented & always exciting Jamie TeHUNA of Sydney is soon to be announced. XFC are happy to have Jamie on their roster & more than willing to accommodate his ‘ballsy’ request of “bringing in the best XFC can get from around the world” to test his mettle.
XFC & its full roster of athletes are also extremely proud to announce that the event shall see a huge fundraising effort for fallen warrior Luke KEMPSON of Mandurah WA. When approached by Shannon ‘F16’ FORRESTER, XFC jumped at the chance to help raise money for his long term friend & former Muay Thai champion Luke, who is facing the greatest battle of his life in walking again, after a near fatal car accident in Thailand.
