XFO 38: Jens Pulver vs. Mike Lindquist via Chicago's MMA
Awesome!
Good For Jens!
now retire my friend
Good job Jens. Now PLEASE go out with this win.
1. That ring announcer tries wayyyyy too hard.
2. Mike Lindquist - #5 ranked FW in Illinois???? LOLOLOLOLOL 6-20 record, ranked 5th?
That ring announcer was a really nice guy, his name is Ray Flores.
Other than Jens Pulver, Joey Diehl was the other stand out of the show. It was his pro debut after a great run as an amateur and he did really well.
oh and this show had 26 fights! 4 pro and 22 amateur, wtf..
I stayed for every one of them too, the last few amateur fights were great.

Oh yeah, he was the voice of Sh1ne Fights last gong show...I remember now.
He may be a swell fella, he's just not a good ring announcer IMO...his voice inflection is all sorts of fucked up.
Dan Miragliotta may be a helluva nice fella too, doesn't mean I think he's a good ref.
Jens is the man..congrats on the win..love Jens..
Don't retire with this win. It cannot be the win you want to retire with. Mike Lindquist is 6-19 with wins over Sam White and Justin davis both 0-1 and haven’t fought since, 2 wins over Ted Reynolds 2-14 and his most notable win against Tory Bogguess 3-4. Really not trying to steal the steam of this victory but just saying for retirement it may be more self satisfying to go out with a better win. No dis-respect to Lindquist he had nothing to lose and all to gain with this fight but this fight is better used as a stepping stone to retirement imo.
Lindquist was supposed to fight for me on numerous occasions. Couldnt stay out of trouble with the law...
Dunno what kinda shape he was in... but a serious micmatch none the less.
Tough to see him in this level promotion but at least he won.
Don't suppose he can work as a striking instructor at Curran's? And hopefully the money from that abortion of a VG featuring him and LeBanner will last awhile.
Nice to see him win but he should still retire. Go out with a win instead of continuing to fight bottom of the barrel competition and possibly lose.
nice to see him win
Ah any way he can back in the win column and start building some confidence. He has looked like a shadow of his former self in his past 6 fights.
