Cain gives glory to the latinos.

October 24 2010 08:50 AM

The Mexican Cain velasquez proved why he was being considered a world talent in Mixed Martial Arts when he crushed without compassion the favorite in Brock Lesnar, knocking him out in the first round of the fight for the Heavyweight world title in the UFC.

Velasquez came out with ferocity since the first bell and destroyed the face of Lesnar with every single punch that he threw, the Mexican gave Lesnar countless knock downs before the definitive KO at the 4 minute and 12 second mark of the first round.

The former undefeated champion in Brock lesnar conceded to being dominated by his rival and said, "Cain was better than me tonight".

In the same card Matt Hamill obtained an unexpected victory over his former trainer and personal friend, Tito ortiz.

The husband of the former porn queen, Jenna Jameson, did not find any answers against his former pupil and ended up ceding by unanimous decision, to finish with a negative record of 4 - 1 in his last 5 fights.

LOL.

"definative KO"

"destroyed the face of Lesnar with EVERY SINGLE PUNCH that he threw"

"Velasquez came out with ferocity since the first bell"

Interesting. I remember punches missing, Brock flying across the ring on the opening bell while Cain backed up to the fence as well as the fight ending in a referee stoppage TKO. VUELTA!!! VUELTA!!! VUELTA!!!

Im upset because I pointed out false information?

Cain kicked Bruce Lee's ass?!?!? WTF did this happen?

cant spell deportes without DEPORT lol

"The husband of the former porn queen, Jenna Jameson,"

LMFAO!

Cain is my hero.

Probably because back when he was trying to market himself that way the Latino press came to interview him, found out he couldn't speak Spanish, and lost interest in him.

Zamiel - Do Mexicans need to be told that someone named Velasquez is Mexican? ...I hate to go down this road full of dead horses, but it's not like he's FROM Mexico.

How come Tito doesn't get called Mexican?

well both his parents are mexican 100% so he could have been born in Japan and he would still be mexican born in japan.

Tito is a weird specimen...Cain eats mexican and lives mexican , is humble and comes from a family of poor people. So 99% of the Mexican and for that case hispanic inmigrant comunity can identify with him. I dont know tito's background and i belive he did have a hard life, but when you talk and dont walk the talk....we hispanics tend to move away!!!

not everyone was born to be "Mohammed Ali" and that is perfect but the reason he got so much respect was cause he talked alot of shit and backed it up. If you are humble and a hard worker even if you loose we will still be there thou. Pretty much we dont want to be associated with people who talk alot and dont back it up.

Cain is a quiet humble guy...everyone likes that.

Tito talks alot and has not won since forever.

dont get me wrong i like tito but his time is long gone. Nothing wrong with it he made history and such is life, you get old and new blood passes you...its normal

Legit LOL!*

*But messed up.

Zamiel - Do Mexicans need to be told that someone named Velasquez is Mexican?

Yeah, because Mexicans are the only ones with SPANISH surnames, right?

I hate to go down this road full of dead horses, but it's not like he's FROM Mexico.

Obviously, you don't hate it really, otherwise you wouldn't mention it. However, ever heard of Jus sanguinis? It applies in the US and Mexico. Although he may not hold dual citizenship, but having the rights to be honored by blood is enough for most people to identify with.

Just switch the roles and put yourself in the same situation. If you were to go to Mexico and have children, feed your kids mac n cheese on the regular, speak only English at home, teach your kids about the USA, have them receive their education from Mexican schools, watch shows and listen to music from the US, they grow up bilingual and visit the motherland often, get beat up by the neighborhood bully for being the whitey, hear on the streets, newspapers and TV shows how you don't belong in Mexico.... do you really think your kid will identify himself as a Mexican? I highly doubt it.

Will your kid be considered American-Mexican or Mexican American (whichever makes you feel better), of course.

Is Cain Mexican-American or American-Mexican (whichever makes you feel better), of course he is.
