It was announced today that TBS would be showing most of the Yarennoka bouts on their free-to-air NYE event. They would show the Dynamite event and the bouts with K-1 regulars (Choi, Akiyama, etc) from Yarennoka.
What does this mean ? It means that Yarennoka has got a major cash injection and Pride 2.0 has a TV home (for one night at least).

Sounds more like K-1 is having their fighters televised on TBS, which has been televising K-1 for a long time already.

its not yarenka thats got the TV deal - TBS will show 2 fights on its K1 show on NYE
so its actually K1's tv deal
the even funnier thing is that this TV deal effectively sinks any chance of yarenko getting any PPV numbers - since the 2 biggest fights are on k1's free to air broadcast - funnier still is that the yakuza behind yarenko are paying for K1 (TBS) tv content
