everyone debating about who is next for a.silva

whats your top 5 and make your case

Champ: Silva

1 - Vitor (3 straight wins at MW and just knocked out the guy who would have been the #1 contender if he had won)

2 - Weidman (undefeated with two good wins over top 10 guys in Munoz and Maia, and a fight with Vitor now to make the next guy for Anderson makes complete sense)

3 - Sonnen (despite losing twice to Anderson, still has high quality wins against Bisping, Stann, Okami and Marquardt, wont fight anderson again but still ranks high at 185)

4 - Bisping (Fell short tonight, but still has good wins over Akiyama, Kang and Stann, so would only be a couple of similar wins away from being in contention again)

5 - Winner of Lombard/Okami (Whoever wins that fight gets to #5 imo, although only Lombard can out himself into title contention with a win)

Other guys to mention - Rockhold, Jacare, Phillipou (all these guys need to win once or twice more to get near the top 5 mark in my opinion.

So, fight to make for me is Vitor/Weidman for the next title shot.

    Weidman tweeted that he's back in Summer and wants to fight Anderson when he comes back... I don't think he's ready for arguably the GOAT with only wins over Munoz and Maia (natural 170er). Especially after a long layoff due to injury, he needs a fight before getting a title shot. Put him in against Belfort if possible, but since Vitor will probably fight between now and then.. we'll see whose available and at the top of the heap at that point.
