Figures, the ONLY fantasy draft I've missed all year is the one I get first overall pick in, my team blows
oh crap lol i thought it would be way closer to when the season starts. I had only partly adjusted my picks.. I'll have a look
Wow i have a very strong team, the only question mark that i see is in goal. Roloson is usually pretty steady but Minny is gonna be not a great team this year imo.
Where do you guys see the draft order though?
Anyways, strongest D around right here baby wooo

Cooke is NOT a center though dunno why they have him as one.
One last thing, why 10 wingers when you've gone with the traditional 4 centers, 6 defensemen etc?
Spank, are you smoking crack? The email from yahoo said it would be Sept 4th at 1 pm Central time. And your saying that Jovo, Boyle, Aucoin, Hamrlik, Salo, and Zhitnik is better than Niedermayer, Blake, Redden, Foote, Stuart, Liles, and Regehr
If memory serves me correctly you had th 9th pick
Also, I am interested in getting Tanguay, take a look at my rosters and see if anyone comparable catches your eye.
Damn i don't think i got or saw that email. Filter might have eaten it up.
Oh and YES i'd take my D anyday over yours.
I did kinda chuckle that you ended up with Linden though ;-)
We'll talk about Tanguay.
Sent you a proposal btw :)
I thought Linden would be good trade leverage for you.
You are also not remembering Redden and Liles...and Footes offensive numbers have been on the rise the last couple of years, and he will be shotgunning the powerplay with Rick Nash to pass to. I got him really late aswell, same with Regehr and Liles.
Also, Alferson is way better than Tanguay...I will look into an even trade that will benifit the both of us.

cant believe i'm saying this, but I think i'd rather have hammetts D over yours spank. Though I would try to trade for Jovo.
Nah it's mainly about offensive stats. There are lots of defensemen i'd take on my team before some of the guys i have, but in a pool where offense rules i got most of the guys i wanted.
Neidermeyer & Redden are probably the only guys he has on D that i'd want, with Neidermeyer being the only guy he has that's possibly better than any of my guys.
LOL@Liles. He'll get more playing time but he's just an average D man on what will be a 8 or 9th place team this year. Your hometown pick, i understand.
Foote is a defensive defenseman, he's not about to put up huge numbers in Columbus. He's not gonna get more playing time, he had huge clock time in colorado as it was and with a lot more talent at the time. The Blue jackets have nowhere near the firepower that the aves used to have.
Regehr is in the same boat, he's a great defenseman that i'd pick for my team normally, but in an offensive pool, nah i'll pass. A guy like Harmlik is gonna get all the PP time he wants in Calgary, and they actually have some horses to put on the PP with him
Aucoin has consistantly been right at or near the top for several years now for offensive numbers as a D-man. Boyle has shown the same the last couple seasons and is the top offensive defenseman on the best & most offensive team in the east.
Jovo is Jovo. He also is in the last year of his contract so he should be good for some stellar numbers unless he gets hurt or something.
Salo is being looked at for a lot more icetime & PP time on one of the highest scoring teams in the league now that Sopel & Malik are gone. He has that huge shot and will be expected to use it a lot more often. He's my hometown pick but i think he'll surprise you.
Zhitnik, well he's my darkhorse hopeful. He could pan out well or end up as a reserve. He's basically just offensive anyways and usually puts up good numbers.
I also have Chris Phillips on my roster lets not forget :)
Hammett, Tanguay & Alf had almost identical stats the last season played.
I'm perfectly happy keeping Tanguay unless you have something of that calibre to offer.
Hey Spank, will you consider parting with Ruutu and/or Calder?
Well, after thinking about it, I will keep alfferson, and hope that bondra signs before the season starts.
Oh and the AVs will win their conference this year...just so you can expect to come in second again, and have to fight for the 5th playoff spot.
hey is any1 else interested in joining a league I have one made and need 6 more ppl email me at patrickdick11@hotmail.com if u want in
grizz i'm always open to offers.
Bondra will sign imo, for your sake hope it's not with the Caps but rather a team like Calgary.
gracie killar i'm up for it too, you have mail.
Well thanks for the non-invite to the fantasy league you bastards. I guess the mooseknuckle was just to feared, haha. Anyways, I'm in GracieKillars league now so join up fuckers so we can at least have a full league.
