Outcome will be the same if not worse for Cain. I have Werdum brutally butchering velasquez. First round tko.
This title shot issue goes beyond marketing. Yeah it's fucking retarded from a promotion standpoint but ufc is also limiting fighters income by putting them in the side to give the more promotable fighters title shots.
I'm really surprised they didn't give Pettis his instant rematch. We all know if McGregor wins they will give also a rematch instead of Frankie who has the absolute best resume for a title shot eight now.
I know Ryan bader is obviously not the midst fan friendly fighter in terms of style, but he deserves the title shot at 205 instead of Alexander Gustafson coming off a knockout loss. It's day and night. If your favorite fighter was in baders place you'd be pissed but because he doesn't stand and bang I guess it's okay just to put him on the side.
Velasquez gets his millionth rematch? Arlovski coming off a 3 fight win streak with 2 awesomes finishes. Miocic would be my 2nd option if arlovski wasn't ready. Then there's jds.
I fucking hate Johnny Hendricks boring style but cobdit is coming off a win over #15 thiago alves and Hendricks (sadly) based on the actual scoring system should've won his fight against lawler and he also got a w over Matt brown. No justification there eitger.
Yeah I veered off topic but its too late to go back because fuck the functionality of the forum. UFC matchmaking is more fucked up than it seems. Werdum by first round tko. Have a good one
Let me be the first to say...
Cool starry bra.
Glad you're confident, get some money on Werdum so Cains odds will drift.
Kinda disappointed in the rematch but you know it's some clause most likely that is giving Cain his shot again. Hoping the UFC completely removes any rematch clauses in the future.
Actually werdum is taller than Caïn so je probably is breathing air with little bit less oxygène.
He better takes him to the ground fast and try to have him in his guard and stay in the bottom.....where he Will be able to breath freely.
The only bright side is if Werdum finishes him we shouldn't have to see Cain in a tight fight for awhile, between injuries and fighting his way back up
Only thing that I'm going to address is,
Bader just is a B-level fighter. He doesn't have the ability to overcome that gap between him and the top 4-5. There is a reason no one is upset about him not getting his shot, it doesn't have to do with a lack of an excitement. It seems more like a lack of potential problem.
His strength is his wrestling, which DC, AJ and I believe Rashad are all better than him at. His striking is robotic and it seems like he can't get over that hurdle it would take for him to reach true title contention.
I would have a hard time taking a Ryan Bader title fight seriously.
Literally mean no offense at all to Mr. Bader, but just my objective thoughts.
The UFC has been trying to make the fights the fans want to see,
They just messed up with this title fight. I wouldn't be shocked if they end up changing it, like all the outrage against Jan vs AJ and then they made it AJ vs Jimi and everyone was happy.
They need to quit trying to eliminate the rare heavyweight contenders. The division finally looks fun and they fucked it up big time.
After the last fight, werdum will be even more confident. Cain the opposite.
Plus they won't be in Mexico City
Zuffa wants them pesos
Sinead O Connors Nipples - Glad you're confident, get some money on Werdum so Cains odds will drift.
.
I think Cain deserves a fight for the belt more than anyone else right now. The only other guy with a real case is JDS, and I don't want to see them fight each other for the number one contender spot. Stipe just lost to Junior, so I wish it was him vs AA. Out of selfishness I want Cain to lose so JDS can rematch Werdum for the title. AA or Stipe is at least a fresh name either way.
Gus earned his shot at LHW. They stole it away from him because they felt dc/jones was more marketable fight.
Not a chance in hell Cain is competitive against 2015 Werdum
Think Cain takes it serious and runs through Werdum this time around.
Vote me down - Think Cain takes it serious and runs through Werdum this time around.Cain wasn't serious last time when he defended the title in Mexico after pulling out of the first fight?
DoubleBagger - Not a chance in hell Cain is competitive against 2015 WerdumWanna bet?
Guess not
Im not in favor of the rematch either. Cain should have to prove he can make it through a couple camps injury free before getting his shot.
What if he wins then is shelved by injury for another year+?! The clusterfuck starts over.
Please Werdum...put another beating on Cain.
Guess im the only one who wants to see the rematch. Cain destroys everyone then is on the shelf forever and first fight back he gasses and gets worked. No Epo, rust from not fighting in forever or Werdum is just better? Im down for it.
