I thought it was closer but guess I need to rewatch.

I thought Joanna’s leg kicks and body strikes maybe weren’t scored as much. Zhang def landed the bigger punches but felt like Joanna had the volume.

But the fight answered a lot of questions.

FOR JOANNA:

She is not done. She can still take a punch.

FOR WEILI:

As inexperienced as she was and it still showed, he still showed she was on the level AND had the heart to fight the most experienced championship fighter in Joanna and still come out on top. I think its fair to say that the multiple camp and location changes for Zhang may have taken some gas out of her. With this fight under her belt, she will only be better.

Joanna did make her miss a lot though and I think she doesn’t need to wing some much on every punch. She will likely calm down a bit with the experience.

I wanted Zhang to bash Joanna (and she did, but took some hell back) but I thought JJ was going to eek out the decision.  It was super close either way, we all won with that one.

With a Rose win we get Rose vs Zhang.

While they fight, JJ should get a W and fight winner.

Then you also got Suarez who should get a fight soon and she could be in line for a title shot.

It was such a hard fight to score, fuck being a judge for this one.

I thought JJ won the fight but I do see the problem with giving the belt to mega mind

Zhang needs to work on head movement and set up her power shots with more jabs, but she is a great fighter.

I thought welli won all the rounds joanna had some moments but welli hit her with big shots that backed up joanna the whoke fight

Joanna face proved I was right zhang was rolling with punches betterand joanna was getting hit flush.

I came in rooting for weili , i thought joanna might of done enough to win, and im now a fan, she brings it.  Great fight
