Is there anyone here with even an iota of business sense? The UFC lost a bid to have their clothing carried by Wal Mart so in 'retaliation' they refused to help promote the winner of that bid. Good for the UFC for not allowing themselves to be used as a catalyst for others' success.
But even if they weren't planning on starting an org, why should the UFC bend over and be the free advertising bitch for the company that won the rights to sell its product in a world-wide chain of stores?

i really dont understand what you mean. how is the ufc cagefighters' bitch? they are different entities entirely. thats like tillys banning all brands in their store except tillys own. are we soon to have only zuffa everything owned? i dont get why zuffa would even do it. kinda stupid. they dont have to be the ONLY game in town for EVERYTHING. especially considering a ton of the fighters on their roster are sponsored by them. petty, greedy, short-sighted. sponsors may think long and hard about paying fighters if they can expect this.

Because its bad business to piss everyone off and isolate yourself in an industry. That may work while you're on top, but should things ever change, people remember these things.
