1st,Pacific Coast Fight Night 2006
On August 5, 2006 Team Pierini will hold their 1st Annual Mixed Martial Arts competition, located in Half Moon Bay, California. This competition will be the first of its kind to be held in Half Moon Bay and will consist of a wide variety of Martial Arts and fighting techniques. These fights will consist of stand up and submission grappling with the exception of strikes to the face and head for three rounds, each three minutes with 1 minute rests between each round. There will be a total of ten fights held on Saturday night in the gymnasium of Half Moon Bay High School. Doors open at 5 p.m., fights start at 6:30 p.m. In this event each fighter will receive a trophy and there will be a raffle held for the ticket holders in the audience.A percent of the proceeds from the competition are also being donated by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Half MooBay to the Coastside Children’s Program.
Mixed Martial Arts such as: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Judo, Submission Grappling, Wrestling, Karate and other various Martial Arts.
This is a mixed martial art exhibition which will include Amateur/Smoker(beginner) fighters from the following schools...
-A.K.A Team -San-Jose
-Half Moon Bay Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
-Shamrock Mixed Martial Arts Academy San-Jose.
-Oakdale Mixed Martial Arts Academy
-Ralph Gracie Team San Francisco
-Cesar Gracie Team.
Ticket Prices will be $25 for bleacher seats and $50.for ring side seats.
This event will be in the gymnasium at Half Moon Bay High School located at 1 Lewis Foster Drive off of Main Street. This location is in close proximity to both Hwy 1 and Hwy 92, and has plenty of available parking.
