Looks like I might be moving up to the east bay sometime in the not too far future, and I was wondering how it works with you guys in terms of cross training with each other.
If I sign up with Jake, am I allowed drop in privileges at Cesar's, and Dave Terrell's place? Or are you required to pay drop in fees at all of them?
I was also thinking about signing up at Cesar's, and hoping for drop in privileges at his affiliates.
The one thing I know for sure is that I would love to be in Cesar's network somehow, especially if I could get experience of cross training with his top students.
Any input much appreciated!!
I train BJJ with Jorge Borras now but I briefly trained with Cesar and know some of his crew very well. TOP NOTCH,
EXCELLENT CAMP!
You wont be disappointed...........

^^^ That's all I've heard about that team^^^
I was hoping I could it in on some of the secrets they have going up there :) There must be something going on with those guys. Maybe it's something they put in the water...
I'm one of the ol schoolers so I dont know about their curriculum now but they train hard and produce champions, as you have seen.
Cesar is very approachable and I remember when Nick Diaz had first started training with us in Lodi under Steve Heath.
Everyone that has been through his doors has won some kind of Championship or epic fight.
Except for me of course........ :(
Go check it out, what do you have to lose?
God Bless......and yes its 1am in Afghanistan and Im getting off this thing.
Sean
Just call the school and ask them.
I think it would probably be better if you went, signed up, and let them get to know you better and I'm pretty sure you will be able to drop into the affiliated schools as well.
But your question should be able to be answered if you just call them on the phone personally
TTT
i dont think you get access to all.
Thanks guys!
I'll have to make the rounds and see which one works best for me. Probably end up being Jake's, since he's in Berzerkely, and I'll be in Alameda, but it would really be a treat to spend some time at the gym where everybody started. Cesar must have a very good teaching method to turn out the students he has.
