when throwing a left hook, is your thumb facing upwards, or is it facing your face?
I think it depends on who you ask. I was taught
towards my face for "far" hooks and upwards when I'm
near enough to kiss the guy. I've also been told
towards me for head shots and upwards for body shots.
Other people have told me they were taught the opposite
so I think it's really whatever works for you.
yea, I usually punch with my top 2 knuckles, (the ones closest to the thumb) so I punch with my thumb facing up.
Whatever you feel most comfortable with. I prefer thumb upwards.
