AdBlock Message

"This AdBlock feature does not work on this site because it uses out of date technology. You can blacklist or whitelist resources manually in the 'Customize' tab of the options page."

That's what AdBlock says when I try to whitelist this site after seeing the scroll-blocking message.

I won't disable the plugin completely, because too many sites on the web are still crazy overly aggressive with ads.

Hope the UG is doing well financially.

The desktop site is flat out unusable. My Adblock doesn't do jack shit.

my adblock works perfectly here, I don't get a single ad

Adblock works fine on both my computers.  One is using windows 10, the other 8.1.

It must be Safari then

Muhahahaha.

~Kirik.

It works fine for me, as it has for the many years I've had it.

I guarantee you if I were sitting in your chair.. I would have it configured and working before you even had a chance to point fingers at the UG.

I use adblock plus and no script. Have zero issues with any website.

Laptop/Desktop, Windows 7, UBlock and Disconnect on Chrome, no ad's

Iphone, 1Blocker, no ads

stop using adblock they was paid off to some ads. use ublock

adblock is oldschool

uBlock Origin :: Add-ons for Firefox(or chrome)

My vpn does it for me. vpn unlimited is cheap, and works great.

Yes it is. Been using it ever since Adblock sold out. Very good plugin and I laugh at the Adblock peons.

What's the problem with an ad now and then, especially if you're a mudnamer.?  Is it too much to ask to be exposed to an ad now and then to support the site and your free browsing habits?

The ads aren't the problem.  It's the viruses and malware that are embedded in the ads.  I had to reformat my computer twice just from visiting this site before using adblock.  The redirect viruses were so bad that the protection software I was using was ineffective.

Like Soup said, ads aren't the problem. My computer keeps freezing up whenever I use certain sites. Since installing Ublock, I haven't had any problems.

The second time I got redirect viruses here, I actually spent an entire day trying to remove it manually but wrecked windows in the process.  So I had to end up reformatting anyway.

OK Thanks for the clarification

Mine was so bad I would get virus alerts as soon as my laptop turned on. No windows open. Then the HDD just crashed yesterday. This place is the fucking worst. Never seen anything like it.
