I think mostly because they usually send Tye to the higher class.
I heard Kade say he and Tye were the same weight last ADCC and they just both wanted to be in different divisions. So Tye just won trials and matches at ADCC at 88kg weighing 77kg. Insane

Not saying Tye is a slouch, wins over Pena and Marinho at ADCC and I think he beat Meragali too. I just think Kade has been a bit more consistent in his showings.
Tye probably is better suited against the bigger guys though because of how aggressive he is. Kade is a bit more cerebral than him in his approach.
