This is the next big fight.
Aljamain will always be remembered for how he won the title. He’s trying to erase that thought. Sean O’Malley is fighting for his legacy, if he loses this fight he will never go down in history the same way. If Sterling beats him O’Malley will not reach the level of superstardom he desires.
O’Malley is flamboyant and he’s very “cool” fans like Sugar Sean, if he wins the UFC bantamweight title he will go viral Saturday night. If he loses he will be on a downward trajectory. He knows how big this fight is for him.
Sterling on the other hand is a guy you can’t doubt. He beat all the greats really proving that he is one too. Now is the time for Sterling take his legacy to the next level by taking out O’Malley.
I think these two match up pretty well but Sugar might want to keep the fight up and not be taken down. Sean might be in trouble on the ground with Sterling who is slick and somehow finds openings for submissions nobody sees coming.
