A very exciting All Japan Championships took place yesterday. Suzuki blazed his way through the field beating both Muneta and Inoue to take the title. He won the match with Inoue by a chui but he was in control for most of the match and knocked Kosei down with a slick foot technique (though no score). His matches with lesser mortals resulted in a lot of ippons (via Uchi Mata and Harai Goshi).
The result: Inoue will represent Japan at 100 kg and Suzuki will participate as 100+. Muneta will miss out on Athens.
