Alvarez and PPV

I figure this has been mentioned but how does the canceled PPV effect his contract.

Someone mentioned it in another one of these threads, but it's interesting to note, but didn't Bellator say in court, when talking about doing a PPV, that Chandler vs. Alvarez II was PPV caliber. I agree with the sentiment, and I'm not disappointed that I get to watch it for free, but what does that say about their statement itself?

Probably signed a reworked contract that didn't have any PPV stipulations and got all of the $$ up front in guaranteed money. No doubt a concession Bellator had to make to get him to fight again and out of court.
