I still can't beleive how easily he beat Henderson. Other than getting a takedown Hendo did NOTHING. And this is a man that took Rampage to 5 rounds.
He is CLEARLY the best pound for pound #1 figher. All the rest in his division AND from other organizations have looked unimpressive. Kang, Filho, Misaki, Okami, that Judo dude from K-1 ...would ALL get KTFO when they step into the octagon against Anderson Silva.
Very impressive win. He beat Hendo in the standup and in the ground game.
and please dont say Lindland! The guy might take Anderson to the ground but he is in no way stopping him before the end of the 5th round where he will eventually get knocked out or submitted.
I could see Lindland catching a guillotine on him during a scramble. I wouldn't pick Lindland, but I think that is the best chance of anyone in the division.
maia and almeida have the best chance imo, but neither of them is quite ready yet. ufc should bring them up slowly if they want to have any legit challengers.

Aint no sunshine in this soooooong!! love it!"
I'm impressed with both of those fighters.
Dan was very classy and came to fight. He did not let the fact that Anderson soundly beat him turn him in to a poor sport.
I always respected Dan before, but I respect Dan even more now.
Anderson should have finally silenced his critics about the "apparent holes" in his game because he showed dominance EVERYWHERE in that fight.
My favorite part about Silva is how he exponentially starts to let stuff go as the fight progresses. He starts the fight by feeling out his opponent and then as the pressure increases, he starts to pour it on showing how great he really is. He's got an "internal satan" that I love to see him demonstrate time and time again.
Hats off to Anderson on that performance and showing clearly and concisely who "The Man" is at 185 lbs......and that man is "The Spider".
Nothing will ever be more badass than a guy who trains in the black spiderman shirt.
Wow, there is no doubt in my mind now that Anderson is the man at 185, not to mention a serious contender for p4p. Henderson has just the skills and style I believed would be the toughest challenge for him, and thought Dan would win, but Anderson is incredible. I dont really see any threat to him right now. Lindland might, i say MIGHT be able to grind out a decision against him, but my money would be on Silva.
didnt see the fight but of course anderson won. He should move to 205 and fight Rampage. This would be a war and yet another fight would be good if Chuck went down to 185 to fight Anderson.
