ECWCock - Sad.

You can't sum that up any better.

All of the above adjectives.

Horrible ;(

It's sad to me if this is the way his career ends :(  , I'd even say the same for just about any fighter, even the ones in the UFC whom I'm not a fan of.

I can't even watch it.

Maybe GSP had it right to step away on top. This is tragic Phone Post 3.0

I think he went out like a G. Had a freak accident. Was still In the fight. What he did at 185 will be hard to beat. He will recover and live a good life. He made a ton of money and will do whatever the hell he wants for the rest of his life. Sucks that he lost like that but I rather see him lose by freak accident then see him get knocked out or submitted. Phone Post 3.0

I'm crushed.

I've said this in other threads... GSP was the smartest OG of all of them.

The complete opposite of this.

I would rather see the man go out on his shield than have everyone (including himself) look back on the fight wondering if things could've gone differently. Phone Post 3.0

I think GSP saw Silva slowing down and fighters starting to be able to catch him. He saw what happened to Silva and knew eventually time catches up to you. Oh and that beating Hendricks put on him helped his decision. Phone Post 3.0

I totally agree.

Silva/Weidman I, Jones/Gus, even Cain/JDS II and Bendo/Pettis all probably weighed on GSP when he made the decision to retire.

GSP and his camp saw this coming: the game is evolving rapidly and its better to retire on top before the competition and age catches you.

Can't bring myself to watch it Phone Post 3.0

Nolabum...the dude just broke his tibia, fuck "going out like a g", I hope he heals up ok. That injury can be devastating depending on nerve damage etc Phone Post 3.0

OP thanks for sharing.
