Any Gameness product currently made in Brazil is a "Knock-off"!We understand that several companies are selling products with the Gameness logo on them without our permission. Unfortunately, the products are not "Genuine" Gameness products and the quality of those products are substandard. The "Real" Gameness Gi's are 100% Gold Weave, no cotton skirt, with better stitching and are pre-shrunk. We have received complaints about this problem and felt it necessary to publish a press release to clear up any misconceptions. Although we regret this for the consumer, we cannot stand behind any product that is being made in Brazil and not being bought from us or one of our Authorized Dealers. We do stand behind any product that we sell. Currently there are several companies who are selling "Knock-off" Gameness products from Brazil and we have an attorney working on the problem in Brazil with our old manufacturer. We will pursue all legal means to shut down every company selling Gameness products illegally. I read this on news.adcombat.com...so techically dosent this mean mmagear.com is selling "knock-offs"? In my opinion mmagear.com is a great site...maybe the gameness products they have are the ones that were acutually made in Brazil from a ways back.

Guys I have seen the new Gameness Gi's and they are awesome. One of the best gi's on the market today and definitely the best gold weave on the market. Check them out!!
Because of litigation, which we are pursuing, all we can say at this point is that Gameness products coming from Brazil are not Authentic Gameness Products. We have been working on this problem for the past year. Our old manufacturer in Brazil is telling people that they own Gameness. When we fired them and got a new manufacturer they continued making Gameness products which are substandard and fall apart.
A lot of our products are now made in the U.S. but our gis come from overseas -- not from Brazil. We have shut down at least six companies in the U.S. selling Gameness products from Brazil, since September, and those six in the U.S. were mislead by our old manufacturer thinking they were legal until we sent them the papers showing true ownership.
We have received many complaints in the last few months about Gameness products from Brazil falling apart, Rashguards peeling off, gi's ripping, etc. Unfortunately, we can't stand behind products that we are not making. Sites like mmagear.com, riofightwear.com, gameness.com.br (our old manufacturer), continue to sell these substandard products. The Gameness name got out by us spending lots of time and money on advertising and we offer the best quality products on the market. We listened to our customers and made changes on our products and everyone who has bought from us is a satisfied customer. If they have a problem, we fix it!
