Anthony Joshua

wilder hits like a mule and comes forward and alwasy looks to finish. is an olympian himself. there is nothing joshua has done yet to suggest he would wreck wilder or fury.

Some years ago when Joshua was an up and coming amateur, Fury (then already a professional)gave a radio interview where he volunteered the story of how an amateur new to the sport did a number on him during sparring.
I've no doubt that Fury thinks he would beat AJ now, but the story is testament to AJ's prodigious talent.

Here is the clip if a bluenamer would kindly oblige.

anyway he said in three years he could wreck them lol, so within that, there is the assumption of future improvement, which cannot be detected now, due to the space/time fucking continuum

i took, space, time and the theory of relativity into account with my response. i've seen nothing from joshua to indicate that he would wreck them. in 3 years time, they will also be 3 years more experienced.

he doesn't seem to posses anymore power or handspeed than they do to decalre that he would have a physical advantage.

he's not neccesarily shown that he is some out of this world technician with his accuracy and fundamental boxing skill. go back and look at a riddick bowe for instance and you can see how sharp and accurate he was as a  puncher and how perfectly on balance and how he seemed to always throw the right punch a the right time, even when he was green and fighting no hopers. in his first 20 fights. despite the opposition, you could still see the skill.

with johsua, you see some skill, but not enough to say, with more seasoning he's going to just carve up everyone in the division in time. you see power, but i don't see so much power from him that he should be declared to be able to blow away guys like fury and wilder who are huge heavies themselves with outstanding power.

I agree, he hasn't shown that yet. That's why I said in three years. I think he'll beat them in 3-5 years. I do think he has already shown better technique than both Fury and Wilder. Phone Post 3.0

HammerHead -
Chaelismyhero - He hasn't fought a live body yet and we don't know if he can take a punch. The Brits have fooled me a couple of times with David Price and Harrison 15 years ago.

Also keep your eye on Hughie Fury,Tyson and Andy Lee's cousin,he is a HW prospect that has a lot of talent.
Was checking out Hughie earlier he seems to be a legit prospect, and imo will end up being better then Tyson. Phone Post 3.0

I agree with that. If he can stay healthy he has a serious shot to be HW champ.

pharo, nice response, i understand your point about seeing flickers of genius etc, but his power is crazy, he's been smashing through people

he seems personable and a hard worker. fury is obnoxious and wilder carries himself like a buffoon. it would actually be great for boxing if a guy like him emerges as 'the man' after wlad

Fury is actually a good guy, he comes off as a dick a LOT, that I grant you. But some of his moments with fans have been priceless and very rare amongst top sportsmen. The guy knows how to take the piss out of himself, he's got that Bisping sense of humour that a lot don't seem to get Phone Post 3.0

I think people just take Tyson too seriously. It's obvious that he's just trying to be funny, most of the time. Phone Post 3.0

He's looked a beast of late but he isn't fighting anyone of much note....he needs a bigger step up in competition but I think he's definitely got what it takes Phone Post 3.0

The guy is a dick.

A mate of mine used to go to the same pub has him before he made it big. He told me Tyson would just start on people randomly, trying to instigate a fight and then obviously knock them out. Picked on people half his size too. Bully. Phone Post 3.0

Heard similar stories about Lee Murray.
