My cousin just started taking MMA classes at coopers gyms in warren, the price is good but they don't give out belts of what my cousin told me. So i was wondering if any of you have been there and is it worth the money. I checked out a couple other gyms like mash and warriors way and they are gracie BJJ affiliates but the cost is way up there.

Warrior Way or Mash gym if you want to train with the best BJJ schools in Michigan. They are Caique Affiliated. Caique received his Black Belt under Helio Gracie then received his Red and Black belt under Rickson Gracie. Can't do much better then that in terms of lineage.
I took a free class at mash and I loved it only problem is cost , I just had a 3rd kid in August and he has a ton of medical problems so money is tight
There is a new gym in Garden City called Michigan Extreme Combat Sports(M.E.C.S.). It's about four levels which is huge. We are dirt cheap as well, and ran by one of the top promoters in Michigan. When I say dirt cheap I mean dirt cheap. We charge for one year what most gyms charge for 3 months. That gets you unlimited facility use during business hours, grappling, striking, yoga, combat fitness, strength and conditioning, and if you decide to fight you get promoted by one of the best oh and we have weights as well. The reason it is so inexpensive is due to the fact that we are a brand new gym and we are trying to build our team. Stars and Strikes in Livonia. We are a Machado Affiliate, kickboxing, mma, cardio, gi and nogi.
I would recommend stars and strikes on Plymouth road in Livonia. Machado affiliate and legit ranking is available in bjj. Several pro and amateur fighters in Mma and kickboxing, competitors in bjj and no gi grappling as well. I heard its a pretty good gym... :)
Stars and strikes is the best choice, imo.
