This was a top guy at 185. Went to decision against Silva. Close fights with Maia and Munoz. Would love to see him fight gsp. 
A while back it seemed like the most interesting fights for GSP were guys he had already beat. Now there's a lot of good matches for him...with Maia near the top of the list.
Yeah not many talk about Maria because he's not young and isn't flashy. But he's just fucking good. Much improved stakeholders good wrestling and top level bjj.

Its improved. The marquardt fight is still etched in peoples minds but gaps loss to Serra was even worse
Maia is awesome. I don't know why he dropped from 185, he was doing fine there. Weidman and Munoz didn't outclass him, Marquardt was just a quick KO that could happen to anyone, and Anderson is Anderson.
Actually never mind, it does make sense to drop. He will never get the title at 185 and it would be a long time before he could even get another shot. He can fasttrack to a shot at 170 and has a better shot at GSP than Anderson without a doubt.

He looks, so far, like a beast at that weight. Story is hard to deal with in the clinch and in wrestling exchanges, and he looked like a man grappling a boy. His technique is great of course, but with his length and excellent functional strength he has run through two guys who were considered to be very physical at that weight class.
