Nicky Ryan is going to be hard to beat at 77. That kid is a stone-cold killer, super intelligent, and one of the most technical grapplers on the planet. He’s big for 77kg now too.
He understands that wrestle-up stuff on a much deeper level than anyone else right now I think. It should in theory work very well under ADCC rules
I would genuinely love to see it but I don’t think his submission first oriented jumpy style will do well against JT or Lepri. Although Lepri did get surprised by Davi that one time so who knows…
I don’t think he’s polished enough, or has the experience for the more experienced and better vets. I just don’t see how he beats half the listed division if he stays healthy enough to compete
I think it helps him a lot that he’s training with the guys he has in the gym. He has 4 other guys already in this ADCC on a regular basis. They might have a few more after West Coast Trials

As many good things Ive heard about hall, I’ve also heard a bunch of stuff about him being a dick, injuring people on purpose and other dickish shit he’s supposedly known for to some. Socially retarded is the vibe I got from the bad stories.
Yeah once, but it was just a slow paced roll. Kind of flowy, his knee is kind of fucked right now. He didn’t say that specifically but I just tried to stay alive and give him decent looks. He was 5 steps ahead of me the whole time though. If he was going hard he would have raped me.

I’ve heard he’s not the nicest to visitors. I did not experience this when I dropped into his gym though, but I think he puts it on visitors rolling.
My buddy did a private with Ryan Hall a few years ago. He said Hall was a gigantic prick the entire time and rolled very hard with him (my buddy was a 45 ish year old hobbyist traveling through the DC area)
