I watched it on the night, but right now I can't for the life of me think of a single thing that happened in that fight
Can someone refresh my memory on what happened/how GSP won?

It's all the same. He "dominated" the fight, yet failed to finish. Nick embarrassed him pre-fight but looked like his mind was in some kind of vegan utopia during the actual fight...resulting in him losing the inevitable UD.
Sad really. Maybe if a rematch were to happen, Nick would look more like the fighter he is as opposed to looking like some dude who got attacked while he was fast asleep.

100% agreed.
Disappointed with how it actually went down, knowing Nick's skillset and previously displayed aggression. But this is why we have the fight. Nick lost for many reasons beyond what actually happened physically. It was a loss due to mental reasons.

Owned Diaz in every facet, made his infamous super guard look like a white belt and made Diaz's "best boxing in MMA" look like a joke. Domination.

And that's no fault of GSP's mind you...it's not his doing that his opponent wasn't focused on the task at hand on that particular evening. Nick does things on his own schedule...it just so happens that the fight fell on an evening where he wasn't at his best.
Maybe you GSP fans will get your satisfaction in a rematch where the better man wins. Perhaps we may even see the almighty GSP finish an opponent LMFAO!!!

He is top 10 if matched up well. Guys like Pierce would destroy Diaz but they will never get the chance to fight or Diaz wouldn't sign the deal.

We all admire GSP's skills, and justifiably so, but I regret getting that last bowl of popcorn. I missed the most significant jab of the fight...that one that ALMOST staggered Nick.
Good thing it didn't connect, otherwise Nick may have snapped GSP's 5 year "unfinished" streak LMAO!

Gsp fight he looked flat. Condit is top 3 in the divison and diaz came close with him - condit just had a perfect game plan to win.
He wont ever be champion but thats just a testament to how good gsp is. Hendricks is going to be made to look average as well.
Nick wasnt asleep... GSP just shut him down. GSP beat him up on the feet and on the ground.
Id like to see Nick Diaz vs Rory Macdonald in a 5 round fight.
Diaz beat down Penn and had a very close fight with number one contender Condit, so I'd say he earned that fight.
That said, GSP dominated him for 25 minutes. I'd be surprised if Diaz had more than 30 seconds of offense in the whole fight.

GSP looked tired and gassed most of the fight.
So Diaz certainly had his chance, but he is nowhere near the caliber of fighter GSP is and got completely dominated.
Against Condit, GSP was a beast.
Good to see other reasonable people apart from DerpEyeDiaz and his "Nick should've taken the fight more seriously" LOL.
