Arlovski's biggest weakness is the fact that his chin has been blasted so many times. I really don't see him taking too many of Fedor's bombs.

i think its really hard to judge competition, they both fought whoever was put in front of them, no one ducked anyone and they are both well-experienced -
objectively, esp after the silvia fight, i'd say that fedor has harder competition over his lifetime
Arlovskis biggest wins are Werdum and Sylvia, and the Sylvia one is negated by the fact that he lost twice to him after his win.
And the Werdumfight is a moral loss since he got bitchslapped in that fight.

Now let's compare the HW's that Arlovski and Fedor each had to reign over.
When Arlovski went on his dominant championship run in the UFC, where he completely cleaned out the UFC's HW division up to 2006, here is who he had to beat:
Sylvia, Buentello, Vladdy, Eilers, Cabbage, and Ian Freeman.

Actually, Sylvia was the only other perennial top-10 HW in the UFC while Arlovski was reigning there - and Arlovski went 1-2 against him.
At the same time, Fedor cleaned out Pride's HW division up to 2006 as well - by beating Nog, Cro Cop, Herring, Coleman, Randleman, Hunt, Schilt. He then went on to destroy Sylvia as well, who is without question Arlovski's best win ever.

Other than Sylvia - Justin Eilers, Paul Buentello, Matyushenko, Ian Freeman, and Cabbage were the "UFC caliber" HW's that Arlovski had to beat in order to earn his way to and defend his UFC HW championship.
That was enough for Arlovski to thoroughly dominate and clean out that "UFC caliber" HW division.
Mark Hunt alone probably would have beaten most, if not all, of those "UFC caliber" HW's.
Just because Fedor had to fight Zulu & other freakshows, does not diminish the fact that he has certainly faced tougher competition than Arlovski.
