Manhoef had insane power but a glass jaw,this was quite a shock though.

Melvin didn’t so much have a glass jaw it’s that he made wild moments and exchanges happen and would leave himself exposed and get caught.

Who were likely pretty fucking freaked out at the barrage of violence they endured from Manhoef. This leading to an increasingly quick/powerful counter punch in defense.
Remember in Bellator his robbery title fight with Rafael Carvahlo and the rematch?
Though he would again get caught with a headkick…
Rafael did him dirty with elbows beat him bad against the fence. A very high milage Manhoef at this point, and one was even a clear sucker elbow on a break.
Manhoef was fine.
