How'd you get such good seats to the WEC last night?
I kept seeing you and Clay Guida on camera when the fighters were gettin checked and vaselined
I am not Alex, but I believe he was there cornering Chase Beebe.
I figured he was there for somebody. That's awesome to get a little national exposure there. I saw the MTC MMA logo'd chair and then saw Alex a few times.
We were there for Beebe. Tough fight for Chase, or I guess I should say he made it tough for himself. We lost a split decision, I felt that Ribiero won the first round with decent strikes and a good front choke attempt but the second and third rounds I felt Beebe did enough to take. In the second Chase had a couple takedowns and back control for over half the round and Ribiero did nothing significant (IMO) other than hold on to a coulpe front chokes, that weren't even colse, as he was taken down. The third was Beebe's for sure as he got his ground game going and dished out some good G-N-P from the top position. 1 of the 3 judges agreed with my assesment of the fight and the other two did not. Honestly, thats why we have to take the fights out of the hands of the judges though. When you leave it to a bunch of old men who have never trained or fought a day in their lives, as we know all to well, anything can and will happen. Chase will be back, although he didn't perform anywhere near to his potential I still feel like he fought well enough to beat Ribiero. Good fight from Will though, to his credit he faced a former world champion and did well. TTT for MTC!!!
