Got a 5.56mm upper for my 6.8 LWRC carbine. The fancy VLTOR stock on the LWRC seems to make bi-lateral transfers and shooting a little easier.....we'll see next training session, but adds a little extra weight :( I fuggin hate weight on an AR.
PSA CHF mid-length 5.56.....Rx'd and inspected yesterday, everything looks good. CHF barrels are made by FN, supposedly double thickness of the chrome lining....not that I've every blown out an AR barrel's lining before, but I've always wanted that little bit extra in case chicoms invade. Gnome sayin'?
Swapped the standard round handguards off the new and onto the old for the Magpul MOE. Haven't decided on rear sight yet.
