any good tips to work on balance? much appreciated.

Bring your knee up and grab it with both hands and balance on you other foot. Have your partner do the same. Then attack your partner by bouncing on one foot, if you can force your partner to let go or knock him down you win the match. Then have a free for all with multiple attackers. Do this all day in the hot sun and the whole class should have good valence after a few classes. There are others of course however this one is fun. Very popular in the grade schools as no body gets hurt but its rough house. The kids call it one legged death match.
