Barnett on Dana: "He's a hindrance"

double

He will bitch slap Rogers.

If a 'trained monkey' could do Dana's job, then there would be more UFC-sized organizations around.

Sure, you can argue with White's public personna and dismissiveness of other organizations, but you can't argue with the FACT that he was, and is, a primary force behind the commercial success of the UFC as a business. The exposure he's brought to MMA is a good chunk of the reason that many on this forum are here to argue about such things.

I think we'll see in the tourney that Barnett is not as good as he once was or was/is perceived to be. This will be the first and last time I root for Rogers.

i remember hearing he blamed his poor flabby body to the fact he was dating a woman that worked at a kfc!

Barnett is a 10/10 troll. He's just trying to get a rise out of people Phone Post

Dana was in very large part responsible for the North American Renaissance of televised MMA. If you really want to get nit-picky, put a majority of the credit upon proper promotion and handling of Tito Ortiz & Ken Shamrock's feud, Tito Ortiz & Chuck Liddell's feud and the emergence of T.U.F. on SpikeTV. Prior to these instances, we were all forced to truly follow the sport on the Internet, including the UFC.

In recent years however, Dana's actual evolution has staggered. Evidence of this can be seen in Lorenzo Frettita's migration last year from Station Casinos to Zuffa’s full-time employment. Dana has admitted he is not actually prepared for international negotiations, a reflection of his understanding of business as a whole. He certainly had the vision and was able to convince the Frettitas to invest in it, but truth must be told, Dana is not as important as he once was. Other than degrade the opposition and the athletes, who compete for them, he has not done an extreme amount within the last year.

Dana is in a position where people have to come to him now. Brock Lesnar wanted to fight for the UFC, so he had to go through Dana. Josh is not incorrect for this reason. Put Scott Coker in Dana’s position and he could likely do an equally good job. The past is indisputable, but since Lorenzo's move, I have always truly wondered if Dana is more of a mouthpiece than an acting part of the business.

Nothing would make me happier than fat Sergei caving this faggot's head in.

I have always heard Dana opposed TUF before it was on air.

Most people seem to agree that TUF is responsible for the UFC's success.

If both these things are true ... didn't the UFC succeed despite Dana, rather than because of him?

Archer0545 -  Dana should love Barnett, he single handidly took out their biggest competitor and will likely aid in taking down SF as well with his Licensing issues and inablity to piss clean.

Thats the problem with Zuffa fans. They believe every shit that comes out of Danas mouth.

Let me tell you something, Affliction would have ended ANYWAY regardless whether Barnie was there to fight or not.
The org didnt have a future or any future to begin with for obvious reasons.

the problem is barnett doesn't want to live by any rules. that is why he didn't want to watch dana talk about his suspension. the fact is that most fans are banking on barnett not being able to fight in the tourny because of either his past problems or maybe a future suspension. grow up,follow the rules or shut up and go away man.

he did. the fertitas are to thank for the success, NOT dana. Dana managed to drive them 40 million in the shitter, and the fertitas were done, and said sell it. then dana rejected tuf, and the fertitas patted him on his fat little head and signed anyway.

the success of the UFC is because of the fertitas. people say nobody could do what dana did? hand someone 40 million bucks, a person that abuses his position in the NSAC to drive down the price of the org, and has mob ties and see how they do. lol

"Dan White is unprofessional"

Why is the word, "unprofessional", coming out of the mouth of Josh..? I think pissing hot 3x is "unprofessional"...lol.

Josh is pissed because he missd the MMA-Boat. Clear as that.

You know what else is a hindrance to this sport? TESTING POSITIVE FOR STEROIDS THREE TIMES AND HELPING TO BRING DOWN A MAJOR MMA ORGANIZATION.

Barnett will only be remembered as the clown who had more hot piss than a planned parenthood refrigerator.

Barnett is a piece of work. He only wishes that Dana White had a relationship with him so that he could fight the show. Unprofessional should NEVER come out of his mouth.

While Dana White does have his flaws, he is instrumental in UFC's growth and direction of the company that has made it the success it is today; FACT. Yes and I'm sure Dana will agree, many people are also a part of that but he is the head of those people and who are working in his vision.

Barnett will never make the money he could if he was a clean fighter and a good fighter. Instead he'll take what ever comes his way to pay the bills including going to Japan, wrestling or whatever scrap he can find. He thinks the fans are stupid, wants us to believe he never took steroids; no respect.

Justinmacd - I like watching Barnett fight but I don't like watching him talk.

funny how many people bash him for roiding when pros who know say at least 85% of pros roid. your hero is a roider too.
