It is way more even than the haters think which is really saying something about the state of the division as a whole.
Anthony Johnson off the couch can probably knock out anyone there and when he was active he did finish the #2 ranked UFC fighter in 13 seconds. And he's in Bellator now?

Rumble just said on the broadcast he's set for LHW at the moment. But he did say for the right opponent he will go to HW.

Just going head to head with the 6 each ranked listed, I think Bellator has a great shot and winning the better of those!

Rumble beats Glover again IMO
Yoel/Santos is a tough fight. Santos with slight edge due to size, but Yoel’s wrestling might make up for it
Reyes/Bader is a hell of a fight! Bader is still the HW Champ!
Corey/Rakic is also a very close tough fight to pick
Davis beats Jiri IMO. Only the best of the best seem to beat Davis! Dudes only lost 5 fights all by decision. Never been KO’d or submitted!
Machida vs Smith is a tough fight too. Could go either way IMO!

I dont know if the division as a whole is better, but whoever wins that tournament has gone through enough of a shark tank that they could probably be considered the no1 LHW on the planet over the winner of Izzy/Jan, especially if they're coming from the Rumble side of the bracket.
