For anyone not sure what to think of Askren, he is "that guy." The one who confronts someone for blocking him on social media. Everyone knows that person: "Why did you block me?" "Why did you unfriend me?" "Why did you stop following me?" Whhhaaaa!!!! The reason is simple... it's because you are the kind of insecure person who would confront someone about why they blocked you.

I was blocked by multiple UFC linked accounts for following Dana's mom on Twitter (this was back when she was releasing the book and had some interesting insight into the yolk of the egg).

Ben dissed Uncle Dana. That probably means a blanket ban from like 50% of the roster.

Getting involved in bullshit between Dana and his Mom is super lame IMO though. The UFC should have blocked you for that.

I also don't blame Rousey or the UFC twitter account manager for blocking Ben either. I was just passing the message on.

How is following a public Twitter account of someone releasing a book "getting involved"?

It's "super lame" (and petty) for Zuffa to spend money on a service to automatically block anyone who followed that account from every UFC associated account.

Funniest part is I've never even followed any UFC accounts so I didn't know I was blocked until others brought it up here.

That would be like saying the UG is "getting involved" by people posting threads on the book and UFC forcing them to be dele....wait, that happened too.
