Help me out here UG...
After witnessing the greatness of Garcia vs. Zombie...it's obviously the front-runner for FOTY 2010.
But...call me crazy, I can't really pick out anything else that jumps at me as a truly remarkable fight. What are the other contenders for FOTY so far in 2010?
Garcia/Jung was entertaining as hell, but I really think Jorgensen/Bunuelos was a much better fight, and should have gotten FOTN.
I'm surprised there's so little talk about that fight, to be honest.
I thoroughly enjoyed Sonnen/Marquardt. It might not have been the closest fight, but you could tell both guys really really wanted to win that fight.
Also I just remembered Lawlor/Simpson happened at the beginning of this year as well. That was one hell of a fight.

I missed the prelims and while watching Jorgensen/Bunuelos I was thinking this was the fight of the year. Like the OP, I couldn't think of another really great fight so far this year. IMO Jung vs Garcia was a better fight though.
Reminded me a little of Credeur vs Quarry being a fantastic fight and it was totally forgotten once Condit vs Ellenberger happened.
The Jorgensen fight was sick. Should have gotten fotn imo
I thought of Melendez-Thomson II and Le-Smith from Strikeforce Evolution, but that was actually in December.
I guess this year hasn't seen much yet.
