best MA for multiple attackers

Ninjas....cuz  no matter adversity...they can just    PUFF  disappear

Using footwork to stack them and Muy Thai throwing elbows, knees and teeps.

Boxing for sure. It is the only MA I have ever seen used on multiple attackers. I have seen a wrestler take a guy down and then get jumped and had the shit kicked out of him, though he deserved it. I actually saw a guy get another one in an arm bar on the middle of a dance floor at a club in Scottsdale. I about laughed my ass off. But he too got destroyed by soccer kicks.

I have seen a guy take out three people with punches so that is why I would have to say boxing.

At first I was thinking Muay THai because of clinching, but I could just imagine someone trying to throw a kcik and getting taken down by a wrestler fairly easily.

"If you think all there is to wrestling is shooting a double or trying to throw, you are unqualified to even comment."

Anytime both your hands are occupied on one attacker is grounds to get laid out, whether it's getting kicked in the face or punched.

Unless you know of a magical judo or wrestling technique that doesn't occupy both your hands on one assilant, I think you need to shed more light on the beauty of the art against multiple attackers or shut the fuck up.

So when you have someone in a tie up, you can't move them around as an obstruction while hitting them....like every thai fighter on earth has been doing since muay thai was invented? So when you have someone in a collar tie, not only can you not knee, but your hands are glued and you can't remove them from someone's head to elbow? This notion really intrigues me.

Or are you saying that single legs and double legs are the only thing that exists in wrestling? No such thing as tie ups, moving a person around? Since you are not aware of "a judo or wrestling technique that occupies both hands" when there ARE, you have just unqualified your self to comment on wrestling or muay thai. Just stick to what you know, which is apparently very little.

The first time you get in a fight, you will understand. Until then keep pretending.

Truth is whether you like it or not, when multiple attackers are involved YOU ARE WRESTLING WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. So keep talking out your ass. See how well your Boxing does then.<

Bro, you seem to miss the fact that the topic of the conversation is revolving around multiple attackers. If you want to grapple with a dude while there are a few other guys around be my guess. I guarantee you that you will fare much worse then a guy who is looking to keep them at bay with punches.

mAury povichs and Jerry SprinGER show demonstrate how mostly ALL fights go to the ground ..the ones that didnt were only becuz of the security guys.

grappling/wrestling is always there with tie ups

Easy question. Track and field. Run away at top speeds while jumping over multiple objects. noobies untrained in track and field will fall over themselves and helplessly give up chasing you.

muay thai and wrestling.

thai for punches and clinch striking.. wrestling to make sure you dont go to the ground.

You guys have your MMA blinders on.

First of all, no one is denouncing the effectiveness of Judo or wrestling in a street fight.

Second of all, no is saying that most fights don't involve grappling.

The thread topic is what is the SINGLE best MA for street encounters with MULTIPLE ATTACKERS.

bryanand - I'm sorry, but you really don't want to spend too much time trying throw or shoot a double on someone when you are fighting multiple people...good opporutnity to get punted in the face.

For multiple attackers as far as MA goes it's Western boxing IMO. I think you want to stay away from kicks, knees and clinches when you are dealing with multiple people as much as possible.

boxing doesnt teach you to stay out of the clinch. you clinch and separate.

thai would be best since it is good in all positions.

bradolson - I study a well known art that is favored by people in Kenya...running.

this, besides women respect my speed

In what setting?

fight for your life=Krav maga

Drunken Frat kid scuffles=boxing/Ving Tsun/wrestling/judo/aikido

lmao

2 pages and no vids of Bas's street fighting tutorials?

Waste.

Boxing and BJJ if one of the guys manages to get you to the ground.. it's hard enough for most to stay on their feet against one person, against multiples it's very likely that you will end up on your back..and BJJ will allow you to escape..

But I do agree that a CCW permit and Colt Commander .45 would be your best bet...

Or just don't go out alone walking dark alleys... :)

Atienza or Sayoc.

Assuming you don't carry a gun 24/7 like most normal people, I think boxing, ala Muhammad Ali type boxing fits the bill. You have to be constantly moving and faster moving backwards and side-to-side than most people moving in on you, jabbing as you go back. This is assuming you are just moving into a position so you can run like hell and not trying to knock everyone out.

Muay Thai is excellent as well but I think the clinch should be used to trip people like how the Thais do it.

I think REAL Krav is pretty solid for survival

I think the hate come from the fact that probably 99% of the Krav civilians are exposed to IS in fact bullshit

there are very few seriosly good Krav places but if you can find one its decent IMO

but the right answer is probably what your the best at... if your Judo is better then your Krav then judo is the right answer even tho Judo wouldnt be anyones first choice in multi attackers
