Kenny Florian. The sad thing is I was a big fan until his douchebaggery! At UFC 88 I saw him at a bar the night b4 the fights. B. Buffer was there, cool guy, Forrest, he was OK, and Rory Singer, blah. Kenny walks by me and I say "Hey Kenny whats up, He turns and looks at me then proceeds to the VIP room. All the other fighters/celebs there were out hangin with the regulars. Dick move if you ask me.

I see why you'd be annoyed, but from his perspective he probably doesn't feel like stopping and talking to everyone who recognizes him. He probably just wanted to hang out with his friends.
i m quite certain i would come off as an asshole most of the time if i was a celeb and people bugged me nonstop. i'd be cooler if i was at an autograph table and iknew i had to be nice.
the fan part alone makes it seem like a pretty tough job
GaymidaGaydan - I met dana and he really could not have been nicer or more accommodating to all the fans.
Seriously that guy cares about the fans in a big way.
True.
i understand autographs if they add value to something, like a jordan bball card, or some ali boxing gloves or something. other than that what a stupid fucking concept!
Can anyone on this thread READ?
The title is "BIGGEST A-HOLES IN MMA?" NOT who is the nicest fucking MMA guy you met!
My vote: Hughes
Frank Mir.
Hughes
Coolest I have met have been Marcus Davis, Kenny Florian, Joe Lauzon, Jorge Rivera, and Gonzaga. All of them act like regular guys and fans.
Oh yeah, Kirik is always cool as hell in person.
Styro - everyone ive met has been super nice, none have turned down a photo or autograph. sylvia (he gets a lot of shit, but really hes very nice and talkative), joe lauzon, militich, and yvel were the nicest ive met. the only one whoever seemed just a tad annoyed was jay heiron but he had just finished weighing in so i dont blame him.
Jay Heirons nice as fuck! I must have bumped into him about 10 times and everytime its "hi and a handshake.."
MrMichaelz - I heard Stephan Bonnar is a giant douche, Jason Guida is a cool guy, but he seems like a drama queen. He freaked on a ref for what he fealt was a questionable stand up... his guy worked hard for a takedown. and after a minute of no action there was a stand up.. in betweens rounds he YELLED at the ref for about 3 minutes on how stupid he was. Kinda ruined watching the fight for me.
I was bullshitting with Bonnar in the pool at the HardRock in Vegas. I though he was funny as hell!
i met Bas a few years back and he was friendly
Din Thomas is probably the nicest fighter I've ever met. Pele is real personable too
i've never had a problem with any of them face to face but it seems like Melvin Guillard would be a little hard to be around, just from the way he acts
Melvin Guillard
Matt Hughes

Maybe he was in a bad mood. I've seen Kenny around at several local MMA events here in the Boston area, and he, Jorge Rivera, and Marcus Davis have not only treated fans very warmly during the autograph sessions, but spent plenty of time interacting with them afterwards. Mark DellaGrotte and Sean Gannon are also very classy with the fans.
War Machine seems like a gigantic D-bag, but I've never met the guy so who really knows.
Anyone can be a jerk or a nice guy depending on the specific situation or whatever they are experiencing at that moment.
Nog was probably the nicest fighter I have met. Renzo was super cool and shot the sh%t with me for about 10 minutes & I was trying to buy him a drink, but he bought mine instead. Phil Baroni (who was with his super hot GF) was also pretty cool. Only fighter that I have ever met that shrugged me off was Keith Jardine (he really was mean). Jens Pulver was eager to talk, but the whole conversation was about himself. Anyway, most of the fighters are pretty cool.
On another note, I found Rener Gracie to be pretty arrogant when I went to their place to train. One of those guys who never looks you in the eye when you are talking to him.
"Only fighter that I have ever met that shrugged me off was Keith Jardine"
Personality of a foot stool...
Din Thomas without a doubt. I remember meeting him at an old BJJ seminar back when he first started. Then, years later he saw me coming out of the BJJ Pan Ams and came right up and started talking to me, asking how my matches went, etc. Such a cool guy. I will always be a fan.
