Simply because he doesn't knock people out, that's why people call him pillow fists. He is a very good technical boxer with a good ground game to match. A lot of idiots who watch MMA only watch it to see a knockout, then get angry when it doesn't happen. Bisping is a great fighter, I'm not a huge fan, but he's still good. That being said I still think Chael Sonnen steam rolls him. I cant really see Bisping controlling a fight against Chael Sonnen.

In the Miller fight, Rogan kept chastising Bisping's avoidance of sitting down into his punches. It was a lack of committing and an act of scoring points and hoping that the opponent tires out. In the Miller fight, he did put a little more zing into his punches in the later rounds but still not enough to give him a shot at finishing the fight.

Can the uneducated please put the Chael = cheater shit to rest please ?? Seriously now, he f'd up not doing the proper paperwork and so forth, but any fighter on TRT is not doping, nor cheating. They are simply levelling the playing field. Its not their fault (well usually) if they cant produce normal amount of Testosterone. There is no reason to not allow a fighter to increase the T in their body to equal those that already have normal levels.
Enough of the cheating bullshit. If they do they get caught, or if they don't supply the paperwork and documents properly, they get in shit ... hence Sonnen and Marquardt. But to call them cheaters? Silly. Sonned a criminal? Well now thats a whole different story. But then again how many other pro athletes have been in serious shit with the law but returned to continue playing the pro sport they are good at?
Do any of the British members care to explain to me why you blindly support a guy just because he was born on the same piece of soil as you? It's not just Bisping, but all British fighters and a lot of these threads about a British world champ or best British prospect. Why the blind allegiance just because of your Nationality?
The same for any other poster who only supports guys from your country. If you're an American and and American guy fights a Brazillian guy and you automatically root for the American, why?
If you have to choose a side and can't just enjoy the fight for what it is, why not base it on the fighters style or the characteristics he has that you admire? I just think it's retarded that you support a guy based on made up political borders.

What fight were you watching? Bisping's body shots shut Miller down in 2 rounds. The fight with Hamill could've gone either way but it went the right way
I was rooting for Miller but he was absolutely destroyed in that fight. Bisping has twice the TKOs Sonnen has as well. Who is the pillowfists really? Sonnen hasn't had a TKO since 07 and it wasn't in the UFC anyway.

I agree that Hamill won that fight, and I certainly disagree that Bisping "soundly outwrestled Hamill"
BUT I'm pretty sure that the two judges who scored the fight for Bisping were Americans. The one judge who scored it for Hamill was the Brit.
