Michael Bisping was perhaps one of the happiest guys to watch Chris Weidman dominate and finish Vitor Belfort at UFC 187. Bisping fought and lost to Vitor Belfort in 2013 and at the time Belfort was on testosterone replacement therapy. Bisping was more than happy to watch the fight and see Weidman 'turn Belfort into a coward':

“I looked at (Belfort), and he looks like half the man he used to be, quite literally,” Bisping (26-7 MMA, 16-7 UFC) told MMAjunkie during a teleconference in support of his headliner against Thales Leites (25-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 72. “His legs look like two little chicken legs dangling out of a female’s body, and he looked like, to be honest, my 14-year-old son could have beaten him up.”
If that wasn’t enough of a kick to the downed Belfort’s ribs, Bisping dropped the mic with this: “Chris Weidman made him look like the coward he is.”
Fighting words, indeed. But also par for the course with Bisping, who faces the surging Leities at SS Hydro Arena on July 18 in Glasgow, Scotland. The Brazilian is on a five-fight winning streak, and arguably of more value to Bisping’s oft-delayed goal of earning a title shot.
“Of course, I would like to avenge the loss on my record, but I’m not sure avenge is the correct word,” Bisping said when asked about a rematch with Belfort. “I mean, he was on TRT, so it was kind of an unfair advantage.
“I want to kick him in the head and punch him in the face, it’s as simple as that. Whatever way around will get it done is fine by me. But I’m focused on the title. Fighting Vitor isn’t something that’s going to help achieve that, but I would love to punch that guy in the face.”
Stephen Holder - lmao@ the fanboize on here who kept saying Vitor looked no different this time than he did in the past even though he clearly did and are continuing to insist that Vitor inches away from beating Weidman haha
Vitor never had a chance against Weidman off TRT and he would have never done shit throughout his career from his first fight till his last without it in the first place.

Powered by BALCO - Rockhold and Bisping are living vicariously through Weidman. Quite sad actually.
It really is bizarre. Of course, they're both fake humble immediately after the fight until several weeks or months pass of watching themselves get destroyed in highlight reels. I'd take this version of Vitor over any version of Bisping, who likely wouldn't have survived what Chris did in that title fight.
On the other hand I think Rockhold would beat Vitor this time around.

Agreed in that I don't see Bisping able to battle through that type of flurry the way Weidman did.
Ive come to appreciate Bisping over the years.
But he is what he is, and what he is not is championship material.
That said I don't hold it against him for thinking and saying otherwise.
He should feel the exact way he does and when he doesn't he should find a different profession.
