It looks worse than big Nog's. What is the status on his eye? Can he even see with it? Doesn't look good at all. It's all white and shit. I've become a Bisping supporter somehow. I don't know how, because I used to despise the guy, but I think since the Sonnen fight I've been cheering for this guy but his eye is worrying me.
It looks fucked. 
Never been a big fan of the guy, but it's really shitty to see someone with his talent have an injury like this. Hope what he's saying is true and that it can be fixed up with a small surgery after he's done fighting. If not, I hope he hangs them up soon before he does any more damage to the eye or gets himself really hurt because he can't see correctly.
No joke I've actually been rooting for him just because his eye seems so questionable.

Didn't he have two detached retinas? (On the same eye?) one is enough to end your fighting career just like that. Repaired retinas aren't very strong and are extremely susceptible to tearing and getting detached again. He's really putting his eyesight on the line by continuing to fight.

Doctors put oil into the eye during the surgery to reattach the retina. According to Bisping, when the retina is reattached properly, the oil is removed.
But in his case, the oil was removed too quickly and the retina became detached again.
He went to practice one day and he found himself struggling to see what was immediately in front of him.
"All of a sudden, I could hardly see out of the eye and that was very disturbing and troubling," Bisping said. "I had to pull out of that fight and start the process right from the beginning again."
He is fully healed and said he is not at any greater risk than any other fighter. The oil is still inside of his eye and he said doctors told him it is impossible for the retina to become detached again with the oil still inside.

yeh i get vision test every 6 months in the military they have your read a few lines from the alphabet, then CLOSE one eye and do the same. kind of like what i said about him having to close an eye to see correctly...
