Bitch Slaps Bad for the Sport

lol @ this

If you would have stayed at your Dojo you would of had all that square footage to run away in.

gym rivalries are a common thing man...if you really feel that strong about it and your an mma fighter like ya say after you win your next fight either challenge him or his best student to fight you in the cage don't go stormin fuckin ice rinks

is hillary with ashamonkey or the pimp slapper?

this thread is funny.

you go there looking for a challenge, dude slaps you and you back
down because you don't want to damage the "image" of the sport. this
is hysterical. you pussed out.

I  train with ashamonkey and can vouch for him.  I can tell you that it is disappointing that a purple belt at 170 who shows up to train only to be slapped in the face by a so-called world class coach who walks at 230 is a DISGRACE to our sport.

The UG is sometimes a place to be funny and smart-assed, and I am usually right there but this community ought to police itself by making sure jackasses like this instructor are properly classified.

Jory and Revolution owe these guys and apology.

I know if he or any of his guys EVER showed up to our school we would not be bitches about it MUCH LESS assault them.

I'm with Ashamonkey, and I've got to say that as pussy as it sounds, I support his not fighting back. More than likely, the coach planned that if we ever showed up to try to start something so it looked like we showed up just to fight a street brawl.

In reality, we train our asses off to be good at this sport. I'm in the gym right now, taking a break after the first hour, getting ready for another. It's new years and I'm in here by myself because one day I want to be at the top. Kev (Asha) trains hours of technique drills, goes to seminars, and competes across the country. I know, I do it all too, haha. We spend all our money to get out of this black hole of jiu jitsu and compete in places that average about 15 hours of driving. We prove how good we are, but we've got someone who just talks about being good that's brainwashing their students and bringing down the sport. He wanted to settle it by seeing technique, cardio, and heart on the jiu jitsu mats, not by brawling in front of 100 kids.

We had no intention to storm in on white belts, we actually thought it was going to be a group of the best of their affiliations getting together.

I don't understand why he put this on the internet though. Ghey.

That team draws it upon itself.

You can't say you are the number one team in the state, then buy the website ArkansasTopTeam.com (that's right) and then NOT participate in local tourneys and fights.

They only fly out to do tourneys where they don't have to put their reputation on the line, in exchange for ranked points.

We have had several decent events that they were invited to. Teams come from surrounding states show up even. I saw Mikey Burnett at our last one. So why not participate in a well-done tourney 15 minutes from you.

I'll tell you. It's easier to SAY you are the best, then NOT prove it, and SLAP someone when they call you out rather than figure out the answer ON THE MAT.

Where is the honor?

lmao @ this

Sounds like both parties are at fault, but asha showing up over there started the whole mess in the first place.

hahah you should mention the fact that we offered to waive tournament fees for anyone from their gym for our last tournament.

Threadstarter: This whole scenario sounds really pathetic. After he slapped you, you should have asked to fight him and forced him to threaten to call the police or fight you. Otherwise you just look like a dingleberry who stormed some guys dojo and then when he slapped you around like a little girl you left and called the cops like a fag...

The cops sent me a video from that night.  Your version of the story doesn't match up after the slap?

i'm not saying what he did was perfect either, but if you show up in force like that, unnannounced, at a place you have a rivalry with, then you're dojo storming, and you can expect to be treated accordingly.

if you guys really were legit, you would have called ahead and made arrangements. no matter what you claim now, it is obvious that you had an agenda heading out there.

your own instructor was 100% correct, and i wonder what he has to say after you embarassed his school like that.

"Bitch Slaps Bad for the Sport "

then stop going out where you're not wanted and getting bitch slapped all over the place, it's bad for the sport!

"It doesn't have to be like this."
"We can all work together!"
"Hey, there's no need for that!"

realistic dialogue

The pimp hand is strong on this thread. LOL at getting slapped. Who the fuck slapps two people? HAHAHAHA

To be honest that guy sounds nuttier than batshit. I would stay away from him. He might start stalking you and stuff.

this guys name wasn't "Giant Lee" by any chance was it? If so, you're lucky to be alive.

Okay, I DID have an agenda. By now that is obvious. But I think my agenda is being misinterpreted. My teammates and myself weren't looking to go in and just wreck house. Sure, if I got the opportunity to grapple him, I would immediately go for the finish, but that's not because I don't like him, that's just how I play jiujitsu.

He didn't even have to let me roll with him. He could've taken all of our money, made us warm up for an hour, and ended class. We weren't going to challenge him. We just wanted to show that there were other people in Little Rock that did jiujitsu.

See, the reason we take offense is because he tells his students that we WON'T come train with them. He sends open invitations out for other schools to come train. He didn't even have to necessarily let us grapple. All we wanted to know why we weren't welcome when it was our instructors and not the six students who aren't directly involved with whatever beef it is shared among instructors.

He shouldn't tell his students lies about other schools, not just mine but every other school we associate with. We all work together in the community to make what is now a pretty damn impressive fight circuit. ALL of us are willing to step up except the one school that talks the most trash about others. When his students ask him why they aren't apart of all that, he tells them lies like how we're all bad Christians condemned to hell or some crazy crap like that.

I'm sorry I seemed like I was trying to go in there and straight up evil-ninja style dojo storm the guy. All I wanted to do was show that we were here and we were willing, and if we weren't welcome, why? He sent me an email the day before, saying "The people you're with can hurt you more than they can help you sometimes." If that was directed towards my instructors, then why not be given a chance to surround myself with more positive people?

But the guy lost it. He slapped me out of fear and I'm just pissed off about it. Hence the rant. But I'm done now. That's my story. I'm not really looking to do anything more than vent on the internet and complain about people that piss me off, which I'm beginning to think was the whole reason the internet was invented. But I also want to let the guy and his students know that we're here, we're willing to work together in what is an awesome fight community. Jory is a talented guy and has what looks to be a really enthusiastic team that he deprives of a thriving fight community. They shouldn't all have to suffer because of some bullshit curtain covering up cold fear. Step up or shut up. But don't bitch slap. Thank you for reading.

TTT for Kevin.
