That would be a good trick ya know? Sign for a fight year out and then let Pulver fight Swanson, and Faber fight Curran between the signing and the actual fight.

When he beat Gomi, Gomi announced to the crowd that he was a BJ fan and would love to make BJ his sensei. I am not a nuthugger, I'm a personal friend, and I can tell you that he is genuinely a great guy. Very humble and a lot of fun to be around. Not to mention a genious.

Ya I get it, he's your friend so you never had a problem with the guy, you probably do his laundry and throw rose pedals at his feet, why would he ever have a reason to be anything but nice to you. Your view and mine differ because what I see of Penn is that he's arrogant and kind of a dick. I probably would get along with him if I was his friend, he smokes weed, surfs and fights for a living, I also enjoy ripping on people who I consider my "enemies". As a fan of MMA though and not BJ's buddy my opinion of him is based on what I see every time he's in the public light and my analysis is that he's a dick.
Maybe they should say things like "That Sean Sherk is a swell guy. I really love his bod and his fighting style." That would sell a lot of tickets don't you think. Ever see a boxing match were the two fighters sat there during pre fight interviews and complemented each other. Come on Keyser. Oh yeah for some reason I can only see how he treats me. I never notice how he walks around local fight venues and takes the time to snap photos with kids and never seems to be to busy to talk with fans. Didn't BJ give an explanation to everyone that he was selling the fight? I was at that ROTR when Gomi said he needed BJJ instruction from BJ, and BJ beat him on his feet, in the clinch and on the ground. Why is BJ a prick if Gomi asks to come and train with him. He was being genuine after the Sherk fight, and Greg Nelson seemed very open to the idea.
