I just moved to San Francisco (Pacific Heights) and need a place to train.
I am looking for a place in SF, not across the bay.
I've heard of Ralph's school and was wondering what other good schools are in the area. Which have strong competition teams? Good instructors?

You could try Fairtex which is located in the mission.
Charles Gracie in Daly City is a mellow place to train. Not real big on competitions but a very nice atmosphere - laid back and relaxed.

Do they train no-gi at Ralph's and, conversely, do they train gi at Fairtex?
