BJJ School visits (reviews and experiences)

I thought this would be a cool thread and helpful for people that travel and try different schools.

I found a cool blog i follow and dig this guys format. Feel free to post your own here as you visit random schools.

I like. Cheers!

Cool reviews. I always wonder how the experience would differ between a guy who is a black belt ultra heavy (like the guy doing these reviews) and a typical lightweight blue belt doing a drop in.

Yea and that guy is actually very high level

Awesome reviews and your site is great.   Thank you.

I’ve trained at Drysdale’s. The atmosphere & training is great

I read about your visit to Lucas Lepri's and that was awesome! I've trained with Lucas in the past before and he is amazing! Makes a good culture in the school.

The only disagreement I have and I'm going to call you out on it is, you said Lucas is a little bigger and stronger than Marcelo. I have to disagree with that as I've trained with them both and also, Marcelo competes in a larger weight class

I’m pretty sure those aren’t op’s stories. I have been drinking but my limited reading comprehension says that is a blog he follows. Maybe I’m not getting what the hell is going on here.

Anyways, I visit a lot of gyms so I will try and post some stuff.

In for later

interested in the Robson Moura Tampa gym

You add some good stuff to the forum, but you complain too much man

these are top notch gyms, hes just explaining how they run their classes, doubt theres anything to say negatively about gyms run by lucas lepri and romulo barral.

i dont think dethrone mma got the best review though.

exactly. he isn't there to bash gyms. he does say whether the instructor would roll with him etc and how he did against them.

considering he is a very high level black belt, you can take it from there.
